Tech Initiation Coordinators are students from local high schools and colleges that volunteer their time.  They will initiate seniors on the various types of computers available. They will demonstrate the pros and cons of each type of device showing seniors the advantages of mastering a particular device.

The Tech Initiation Events are available to seniors living in a public or a private residence or are members of an organization that provides services to its seniors.

Pointerware makes software for assisted living facilities. It is a product that was developed in Toronto and it is bilingual. When asked by the manager or owner of a seniors facility (residence) about software for seniors, you can suggest looking into this product.
